Welcome to Purely Shannon

I'm Shannon—a teacher, entrepreneur, wife, and proud mom of three boys. I created Purely Shannon as a place where classic style, cozy homes, seasonal traditions, and everyday inspiration come together.

I've always believed a home should be both beautiful and lived in. I'm inspired by simple, functional design, timeless florals, relaxing natural colors, soft textures, and meaningful pieces that make a home feel warm and welcoming. You'll often find me decorating for the next season, experimenting with a new recipe, working in the garden, organizing our home, designing for my shop, or cheering on my boys.

My path to this chapter wasn't always the one I imagined. After divorce and starting over, I found love again, blended two families into one, and continued a long journey through infertility and many rounds of IVF before welcoming my youngest son at 44. Those experiences taught me resilience, gratitude, and an even greater appreciation for the everyday moments that matter most.

Much of my inspiration comes from my grandmother. As I write and design, her photograph sits beside me along with several of the things she once cherished. She had a wonderful way of making a home feel beautiful, comfortable, and full of love, and I hope a little of that spirit finds its way into everything I create.

Here at Purely Shannon, I share home and decorating inspiration, seasonal ideas, family recipes, entertaining, organization, gardening, favorite finds, style, thoughtfully designed gifts, and behind-the-scenes glimpses of my creative business. From time to time, I'll also share pieces of my journey through motherhood, infertility, IVF, and starting over.

Above all, I want Purely Shannon to be a positive and welcoming place—somewhere to celebrate creativity, traditions, beautiful ideas, and the joy found in ordinary life.
